Each of the aforesaid Companies of the SACMI Group (hereinafter jointly referred to as the "COMPANIES") will process your personal data in its capacity as autonomous Data Controller. In particular, your data will be processed by SACMI IMOLA S.C. as the parent company of the SACMI Group of Companies and by the individual Companies of the SACMI Group according to specific needs. The processing activities will concern the personal data collected on the “Careers” website (http://careers.sacmi.com/ hereinafter the “Site”), provided directly by you, by filling in the fields on the Site and sending your CV in relation to a spontaneous application or in response to an advertisement for the purpose of employment or collaboration with one of the COMPANIES. The COMPANIES consider it essential to respect your privacy and therefore ask you to read carefully this Policy (hereinafter “Privacy Policy”) in order to make a sensible, free and informed choice when filling in the fields that are presented on the Site.
In general, all personal data (hereinafter "Personal Data" and/or "Data") that you provide to the COMPANIES through the Site and the information subsequently generated by the processing of the Personal Data referred to above, will be processed in compliance with the principles recognized by current legislation on the protection of personal data, such as the principles of transparency, fairness, lawfulness, data minimisation, purpose and storage limitation, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
This Privacy Policy was written on the basis of the principle of transparency while trying to avoid an excessively legal language to provide greater ease of understanding of this information.
The Privacy Policy is divided into sections (hereafter called “Sections” and/or individually “Section”), each of which covers a specific subject in order to allow reading and searching for topics as easily and quickly as possible.
The Site may contain links to other applications or websites. The COMPANIES are not responsible for their privacy policies or content.
Processing means “any operation or set of operations performed with or without the help of automated processes and applied to personal data or set of personal data, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, extraction, consultation, use, communication by means of transmission, dissemination or any other type of distribution, comparison or interconnection, limitation, deletion and destruction”.
Personal data means “any information pertaining to a natural person that is or can be identified (“subject”); natural persons are identifiable if they can be identified directly or indirectly, with particular reference to identifying elements such as name, identification number, location data, online ID or one or more elements that are characteristics of their physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economical, cultural or social identity”.
Particular Categories of Personal Data means: “... personal data that disclose racial or ethnic origins, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or membership of unions, as well as genetic Data, biometric Data to uniquely identify a natural person, Data pertaining to health, sexual life or sexual orientation of the person).

  1. Personal Data processed
Personal Data processed by means of the Site fall into the following categories.
  • Personal Data, Curriculum Vitae, Availability and other Personal Details
If you decide to apply spontaneously or for one of the vacancies, the COMPANIES may request information such as: Name, Surname, Date of birth, Place of birth, Sex, Address of residence. In the same way, you may be asked to provide further Data such as your previous and current work experience with salary and career details and information relating to the details of your studies; Data deriving from your sending of photographs and Data contained in your CV uploaded on the Site. The information subsequently generated by the COMPANIES through the processing, including by computer, of the above-mentioned Data is also subject to processing.
Some sections of the Site provide free text fields and the possibility of optional, explicit and voluntary sending of documents to the COMPANIES that may contain Personal Data and, even inadvertently, particular categories of Personal Data, such as data revealing political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data pertaining to health, sex life or sexual orientation.
In the same way, through the sending of your CV or subsequently, the COMPANIES may collect these particular categories of Personal Data. Any processing of such data may take place with your explicit consent and in accordance with the pro-tempore authorisations in force regarding the protection of personal data. In this regard, if not strictly necessary, we ask you not to provide this type of information; otherwise, if you decide to provide it, you will be asked to give your consent in accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data. If you do not give your consent to the COMPANIES to process particular categories of Personal Data relating to you, if you decide to provide them, your application will not be considered.
  • Personal Data of other people
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, since any type of message can be entered in the free-text fields of the Site, they may indeed contain Personal Data of other data subjects. In all cases where you decide to share such Data, you will be considered an independent data controller and, as such, you will have to assume all legal obligations and responsibilities relating thereto. Therefore, in this regard, you grant the widest possible indemnity in respect of any dispute, claim, request for compensation for damage caused by processing, etc. that may be received by the COMPANIES from persons whose Personal Data have been forwarded by you in breach of the applicable rules on the protection of personal data. Since, in this case, the COMPANY would not collect the information directly from the data subjects (but from you indirectly), you ensure that this specific processing is based on the authorisation of these subjects or on another suitable legal basis that authorises processing of this information.
  • Navigation data and cookies
Information technology systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire some Personal Data during their normal operation, whose transmission is implicit in using Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected by the COMPANY to be associated with identified subjects, but it may, by its very nature, allow the identification of users through processing and association with data held by third parties.
This category of Data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting with the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to send the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters about the operating system and software environment of the user.
These data are used only for anonymous statistical information about use of the Site, to check its proper operation and to identify any unusual activity and/or abuses. Except in cases where the data are used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site or third parties, such data do not persist for more than seven days.

  1. Purposes of the processing of Personal Data
The purpose of the processing of Personal Data is to allow the search and selection of employees and collaborators, such as - for example - the response to applications received on the Site (spontaneous and/or related to vacancies), the call for briefings and interviews necessary to complete the search; "Search, Selection and Evaluation of Personnel").
  1. Legal basis for processing, compulsory/optional nature of provision of personal data and consequences in the event of no answer
The provision of Personal Data for the purposes of Search, Selection and Evaluation of personnel is optional, but any failure to provide it or erroneous provision would make it impossible to assess your application for a job or collaboration with one of the COMPANIES. In this regard, it should be noted that Data preceded by an asterisk (*) within the Site are considered by the COMPANY to be necessary and indispensable to fulfil the above purpose. The legal basis for the processing of Personal Data for the above purpose is identified in the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Processing is carried out by means of both computerised and paper supports, both of which may be organised as databases or archives, and involves, where necessary, the use of telephone communications and/or the sending of computerised communications via your e-mail address.
  1. Target and transfer of Personal Data
The Personal Data will be made known to the staff of the COMPANIES, in charge of the search and selection of personnel and collaborators, who are authorised to process them in order to achieve the aforementioned purpose and who are committed to confidentiality or have in any case received a suitable legal obligation of confidentiality.
Personal Data may be disclosed to third parties, appointed as Data Processors, as they process Data on behalf of the COMPANIES (for example, companies in charge of managing the Site, subjects with whom it is necessary to interact for the provision of Services such as hosting providers, providers of platforms for sending e-mails or, again, subjects delegated to carry out technical maintenance activities including the maintenance of network equipment and electronic communication networks).
Personal Data will also be communicated, where requested, to the competent financial offices, or to other Public Administrations, in accordance with the provisions of the laws in force.
Personal Data are not intended for publication or dissemination.
The data will be processed by the COMPANIES within the territory of the European Union and the European Economic Area. Should it be necessary, for technical, organisational and/or operative reasons, to use subjects (among those indicated above) located outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, the COMPANIES will ensure that the Data are processed by these subjects in compliance with the applicable legislation. Transfers are therefore made by means of suitable guarantees, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other suitable guarantees.   1. Storage of Personal Data
The Personal Data processed for the purposes of Search, Selection and Evaluation of personnel will be kept by the COMPANY for the time strictly necessary for their evaluation for possible inclusion in one of the COMPANIES as an employee or collaborator. In any case, the COMPANIES specify that the storage time of your Personal Data collected through the Site (including the CV received) will not exceed 2 years from the date of receipt of the same. Data will be deleted at the end of this period.
  1. Your rights as Data Subject
You are entitled at any time:
  • to request access to your Personal Data (and/or a copy of these Personal Data) as well as further information on the processing in progress;
  • to request the rectification or updating of your Personal Data processed by the COMPANIES, if they are incomplete or not up to date;
  • to request the deletion of your Personal Data from the COMPANY's databases, if you consider the processing unnecessary or unlawful;
  • to request the COMPANIES to limit the processing of your Personal Data if you believe that your Personal Data are incorrect, not necessary or unlawfully processed, or if you have objected to their processing;
  • to exercise the right to Data portability, i.e. to obtain a copy of the Personal Data that concern you, provided to the COMPANIES, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request their transmission to another Data Controller;
  • to object to the processing of your Personal Data, using a legal basis relating to your particular situation, which you believe should prevent the COMPANIES from processing your Personal Data;
  • to withdraw the consent given for the processing of Particular Categories of Data relating to you by the COMPANIES.
We inform you that the Personal Data you have provided to the COMPANIES can be changed at any time by writing to: privacy@sacmi.it. In addition, you may exercise all of the above rights in the manner described above.
The COMPANIES also inform you that you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority (for example, that of the country in which you have your habitual residence, in Italy the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data) if you believe that the processing of your Data is contrary to the actually applicable legislation on the protection of personal data.
  1. Modifications to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (Version 1.0) has been in force since 25.05.2018. The COMPANIES reserve the right to change or update its content, partially or fully, also as a consequence of changes in the applicable regulations. The COMPANIES can inform you of these changes as soon as they are made and they will be binding as soon as they are published on the Site. The COMPANIES therefore invite you to visit this section regularly to learn about the most recent and updated version of the Privacy Policy in order to be always up to date on the Personal Data collected and how they are used by the COMPANIES.
